This year we celebrated Intercultural week with a mix of cultural experiences and culinary delights for staff and students. Our International centre hosted henna, Kendama competitions, basket weaving, world quizzes, Brazilian, Sri Lankan and Indian cooking and a fried rice competition between our International students.
Our primary students learned a variety of traditional Japanese games and toys from our Japanese international students, and free okonomiyaki, crepes and chicken tortillas were provided throughout the College – not to mention free Aussie snags cooked by our Brazilian students. An amazing colouring in competition was held throughout the primary school along with other traditional dances and games.
It was a great week, celebrating the many cultures we have within our College and a chance for our students to experience some of the tastes of the world.
