69蹤獲 Hosts 550+ Educators for Professional Development Day

On Friday 4th September, while our students enjoyed a Student Free Day, 69蹤獲 was proud to welcome more than 550 educators to our campus for the SAFSSA Shared Professional Development Day.

Educators joined us from right across our alliance, including Aldinga Payinthi College, Christies Beach High School, Goolwa Secondary College, Mount Compass Area School, Seaford Secondary College, Victor Harbor High School, and Yankalilla Area School. Together, our staff focused on designing learning opportunities that help students become resilient, reflective, and confident learners.

The day provided an opportunity for educators to connect, share ideas and explore ways to create learning opportunities that help students become resilient, reflective and confident learners.

We would like to give a special thanks to Drew Kilner, a Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri educator, who opened the day with a meaningful Welcome to Country.

We also thank Hon. Lucy Hood MP and Rod Nancarrow for their insightful addresses on activating student dispositions through the South Australian Curriculum, as well as all visiting Learning Partners, Curriculum Leads and teachers who shared their knowledge, expertise and experiences throughout the day.

Our staff returned to the classroom with practical strategies, fresh resources and new connections that will help support our students and their learning.
